For the past 20 years, Children’s Museum Houston and the Martel Foundation have scoured the Houston area for teachers who possess “exemplary commitment” to educating young children.

Congratulations to 2019 Marian and Speros Martel Early Childhood Educator Award winner Isabel McHan! As a Dual Language teacher in HISD, Isabel is dedicated to Early Childhood Education. The Children's Museum of Houston and Martel Foundation are proud to honor her passion and achievements in the field.
