The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ promotes agriculture by hosting an annual, family-friendly experience that educates and entertains the public, supports Texas youth, showcases Western heritage and provides year-round educational support within the community. One of the most exciting and colorful elements of the Show's educational commitment is the School Art Program.
Come see the award-winning student art from the 2024 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo here at Children's Museum Houston! Students from all over the Houston area submitted artwork for the School Art Program. This program challenges students and schools to think outside the box and provides them “with the opportunity to compete in district shows, earn scholarships, travel to summer workshops and display artwork in the Hayloft Gallery during the Rodeo”.
