Br’er Rabbit

Br’er Rabbit is a fun-packed combination of African American Folklore and American popular culture.

Pan African Passport

Through colorful drumming and dance, Kucheza Ngoma Dance Company chronicles the influence of the African dispora on dance.

Come celebrate the African American spirit and learn about significant periods in history by participating in exciting activities, exploring African cultures and traditions, and engaging in stories about courage, survival, and resilience.

T. Ellis Artist Showcase and Self Portrait Workshops

Showcase: Feb.7-28

Workshops: Feb. 11, 16 (during Free Family Night) and 25

Artist T. Ellis’ prints have been sold and distributed all over the world. He has embarked on a mission to create unique works of art that speak to the enduring legacy of African American history and culture. Come and see one of his most distinguished collections featuring portraits of renowned African Americans. Plus, join his son, actor Tanner Ellis, for workshops on the significance of each portrait followed by self-portrait workshops that explore what’s meaningful to you.
