Sneeze the day! Children’s Museum Houston takes on allergy season with slimy BASF Power Science Lab ribbon cutting

Friday, March 21 at 10 a.m.

Sponsored by BASF

WHAT:

Snot your average ribbon cutting!  Get ready for a grand opening that’s oozing with excitement! Children’s Museum Houston will unveil the all-new BASF Power Science Lab with a ribbon cutting that’s anything but ordinary. Instead of scissors, we’ll slice through slime with a mucus-filled science spectacle!

WHY:

Science gets slimy as BASF scientists dive into the sticky world of mucus, allergies, and pollen. Expect hands-on experiments, larger-than-life demonstrations, and a first look at a lab where curiosity runs wild—just like your nose during allergy season!

VISUALS:

  • A slime-powered ribbon cutting.
  • Larger-than-life allergy science demos.
  • Kids (and grown-ups!) getting hands-on with gooey experiments.
  • Don’t blow it—join us for this unforgettable (and slightly gross) grand opening!

WHO:

  • BASF Scientists
  • Children's Museum Houston Representatives.
  • Sneeze-prone science lovers of all ages.
