Packed with hands-on eco-friendly activities, engaging science demonstrations, and even a chance to take home a tree, these events will inspire you to appreciate and protect our beautiful Earth.

Tree Sapling Giveaway by Trees for Houston: Help Houston grow greener! Pick up a free tree sapling and plant a future for our community.

When: All day until supplies last at Museum entrance.

Ant Talks with Scott Solomon: Dive into the fascinating world of fungus-farming ants with Rice University’s biosciences professor, Scott Solomon, and uncover an ancient agricultural secret dating back 66million years!

When: At 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.

University of Houston-Downtown Water Filtration Demonstrations: Discover the science behind clean water and explore sustainable environmental practices.

When: From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Patio.

Seed Starters: Roll up your sleeves and make your own wildflower seed bomb to spread nature’s beauty far and wide!

When: From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in CenterPoint EcoStation.

Wooden Planter Boxes: Build a planter box from scratch and bring your gardening dreams to life!

When: All Day in Chevron Maker Annex.

Recycled Bracelets: Create a stylish, eco-conscious bracelet using repurposed materials while learning about sustainability.

When: From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in CenterPoint EcoStation.
