Sensory Friendly Day is an opportunity for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), sensory processing differences, learning differences and disabilities to explore the Museum at their own pace and time. This day bursts with valuable Autism resources and interactive activities, provide a comfortable, protected and accepting environment, and give parents opportunities to make connections with other families and the Autism community.

Enjoy a winter wonderland as guests, Elsa and Olaf, meet you for a special holiday event! You'll think you've stepped into the faraway kingdom of Arendelle! Meet with Elsa and Olaf during this very special fan-appreciation event. Be sure to bring your camera and smiles.

It's your last chance to meet Santa Claus before he embarks with Rudolph on his Christmas voyage around the world! Bring your camera and your wishlist so you can snap some Holiday photos with the jolly fat man and tell him what your heart desires. Be sure to plan on arriving early, Santa has a busy schedule and has to leave in the afternoon so he can prepare his sleigh.

Kids finally don’t have to stay up till midnight to celebrate the New Year! Children’s Museum Houston’s Rockin’ New Year’s Noon is the city’s longest-running New Year’s Eve celebration just for kids! This end-of-year bash rings in the New Year at the stroke of noon with ball drop, just like in Times Square! Musical talents will spotlight this New Year’s Eve celebration complete with countdown, ball drop and DJ dance after party!
