Get ready to paint the town red, white, and blue as we celebrate America's 248^th birthday during Children’s Museum Houston’s “Summer Escape.” Join us for a day packed with exhilarating activities, spectacular shows, and patriotic fun for all ages.

SPECIAL EVENTS:  

21-MentosGeyser Salute:  Kick off the day with a bang! Witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of 21-Mentos geysers erupting in a patriotic salute that will leave you breathless and cheering for more!

Event Times:  At 9 a.m. and noon in Concrete Jungle.  

Kidpendence Confetti Blast!:Dance and celebrate with Captain America and Lady Liberty in a joyous confetti party, spreading cheer and patriotism with every colorful flutter.

Event Times:  At 10:30 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. in Concrete Jungle.

Captain America Story Time: Join Captain America for an action-packed story time which will ignite your imagination and stir your patriotic spirit. Perfect for young heroes in the making!

Event Times:  Captain America and Lady Liberty onsite from 10 a.m. to 2 pm in Kids Hall Alcove.

Captain America story time sessions at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in Parent Resource Library.

Celebratory Science Show: Don your lab coats and prepare to be amazed as our scientists take the stage with electrifying experiments and mind-blowing demonstrations!

Event Times:  At 3 and 4 p.m. in Brown Auditorium.

Kidpendence Day Glasses:  Show your patriotic spirit with these fabulous red, white, and blue glasses.

Event Times:  All day in Junktion.
